Text Box: Model CT-4000 is a fully automatic CT test system.  Designed for use by unskilled personnel,   the  system  is  virtually  foolproof.  The operator simply connects the CT,  enters the CT type number and presses the START button. A PASS/FAIL display and RCF and Phase data certificate are then  computer generated in a few seconds.  

Gross failures are rejected immediately and the system will tolerate polarity misconnection. The computer can keep data records of all tested CT’s for printing test reports any time. 

In the normal mode,  the CTUT is  tested  to programmed data stored on disk by part #.
Electrical test time including ramping and accuracy evaluation is approximately 3 sec. 
In the degaussing mode each CT under test is automatically degaussed before testing.

Model CT-4000 can print custom data reports and store  data for  use with Excel or Access.

Model CT– 4000 is very easy to program.  CT test program data are simply entered into blanks on the programmers screen.  Test limits are prompted or computed per ANSI or IEC. Verified Test Programs are stored on disk for fast repeat setups,  or may be used in the user defined test sequence mode.

Model CT-4000 is suitable for window or bar  current transformers for metering or relay applications, at standard accuracy classes.
